| I've installed Apache 2.2.9 with windows vista. Apache works fine after installation. I can view the "IT WORKS" default page when putting http://127.0.0.1 or http://localhost.com in the browser. I used the default installation path. " C:/Program files/Apache.../ Apache2.2/". If the laptop powersdown, or if I manually shutdown and try to restart Apache it won't work and I have to reinstall. I receive a "Code 1" error. This happens when I log in as administrator as well as a regular user. I'm also unable to change permissions on the apache file. Going to the Apache folder I can change the permissions in the advanced tab making everything readable, writeable and executable. When I open the properties tab and remove the "tick" mark on only "readable" then close the tab it's already replaced the "tick" mark on only "readable" again. I'm not sure if apache won't start automatically because of this though. I also have PHP5 installed. In the httpd.conf file. I have added one of the modules to be loaded. Any ideas? |
