You could check then the Changelog for the latest version and
'diff' the files in question with your version if there's
anything changed. You could open up a bug report to the xfs
maintainer if nothing changes and/or the problem persists.

Personally didn't have much luck with JFS, anything with it ended
in a disaster. Ext3 on the other hand just works, so this is what
I use mostly.
