Yep and one possibility is as ray pointed out, running some X
Server on you windose box. Perhaps you could try
vncserver/-client which might be easier to get running and should
be fast enough on local LAN.

As this is one of the most important features, cut&paste to M$
Word, if not the killer feature it does usually work.
