Default file .bin

sorry for the probably simple question but i couldn't find a solution
searching on line...
i 've to execute a file .bin (it's GoogleEarthLinux.bin) under Ubuntu
and i can't do that.
I tried in terminal to write the name of the file but i received a
message: command not found.... I tried also with ./GoogleEarthLinux.bin
with no luck.
What's wrong?

Thanks

Alessandro

You have to read the instructions on the website and make it executable.
chmod a+x GoogleEarthLinux.bin

Then you you do as you said above
