| I am looking for a way to bind Greek letters to keys, such as alpha to win+a, along with capital alpha being win+shift+a. I am using X and gedit primarily. It appears that unicode files would be a fine way to have it in the files. Any thoughts on how I might do this? - Jeff. |

There are a metric ton of alphas listed there, one Multi_key combination for every distinct set of accent marks over the alpha, and they all seem to require the Greek_alpha key. It's always possible to use xbindkeys and xmacroplay to bind a key combination to a set of arbitrary keypresses, but I don't know whether it would work properly in all X apps. What's your 'Doze key bound to, anyway?
