Hi,

we are using a program which was formerly using an oracle 8 database.
Instead of oracle 8, we now want to use Oracle Express 10g, but when
using this database we are having serious performance problems with SQL
Updates. In fact, select and inserts are performing quite well, but
doing updates is 12 times faster on Oralce 8 than on oracle 10g
express. Do you have any suggestions what's wrong with our
configuration?
